Ive been to pacific radiology lower hutt for my mom's xray. The guy who did the xray didnt seem to explain clearly when to do deep breath and hold breath. He just press the button for xray anytime he wants. Seems like he is in a hurry. I suspect failure of the results because of this. I paid fair enough for this service but because of this experience, it comes to my mind that this is more of money making..ive been to pacific radiology wellington branch, they are better. They will tell you clearly when to take deep breath and hold, they seem to ignore this small things but very important to get good and true results. Especially if everyday, they are dealing with different culture of people, some may dont speak english at all. They should put proper xray instructions in front of where the patient is standing for xray, to follow properly. Not just have the operator giving instructions too fast.they should be able to understand every people is different, you paid what the fee is, everyone sholud be treated equal. So far, I rate my experience as TERRIBLE. Should not happen in NZ. Im proud to be a citizen of NZ but experience like this in medical field makes me feel shameful as NZ is well known for better health services. Many might encounter same experience that I have but doesn't bother making review as they are maybe international visitors but doesn't matter, they pay mire than what others pay, should be treated with respect and equally....
