THE AUTOMOTIVE WORKHOUSE - WHANGAREI, NTL

So disappointed in the workhouse. I took my car there last week as it was leaking oil and received a call saying there were two leaks and as one was near the cam belt it would cost just over $900 to repair which included changing the cam belt. I agreed to the oil leaks being fixed but as I had had the cam belt replaced some months earlier at the same garage I didn't want the cam belt replaced again ,please note when they replaced the cam belt previously after taking it out and putting new one in they said they had found the older one in almost new condition. I got a call later that day to say it would now cost $458 to repair oil leaks to which I agreed. When picking up the car after work I was told it was fixed so I left lighter in the pocket but relieved it was all fixed. The next day I noticed fresh oil on carport floor so rang garage and made arrangements to take car in to be looked at. Later that day I had a call from the same mechanic to say it would now cost just over a further $700 to fix another oil leak which had not been mentioned originally . In total if they did the 3 oil leaks it would amount to over $1200. I will not be going back to the workhouse and neither will any of my family who have previously gone there as I have lost all faith in their integrity.
